The communications center located at Conroe Police Department is one of two; Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) within the County. The other located at Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. Citizens who call 9-1-1 for any emergency service (Law Enforcement, Fire or EMS) are routed to one of these two centers; then directed to the appropriate discipline. Conroe Police Department answers 9-1-1 emergency calls and dispatches local law enforcement within the city limits of Conroe.
