The Montgomery County Hospital District provides emergency and non-emergency ambulance transportation for the citizens and visitors of Montgomery County, Texas. Responding to over 45,000 calls a year, the agency canvas’s over 1,100 square miles and serves a population of more than 485,000.EMS units are tactically positioned to most efficiently cover the calls. MCHD’s 20 EMS stations house 22 ambulances, four supervisors and one Advanced Life Support Squad.
